Visit of Lama Guru Mr Keshang Ghale to British Forces Brunei
Mental Health. The Lama Guru will deliver group and individual counselling, meditation, and Puja over the period. Service personnel or family requiring counselling or family rituals will be centrally coordinated by the UWO. Request should be made through CoC to the UWO, or SP and families can arrange directly with the Lama Guru.
BUDDHIST RELIGIOUS TEACHER [LAMA GURU] VISIT - DECEMBER 2024
1. Lama Guru Mr Keshang Ghale, one of the Buddhist Religious Teachers of Bde of Gurkhas visit to BFB during the period of 5 -1 2 Dec 24.
2. Visit Aim. The following are the aim:
a. Support the moral component of the fighting power.
b. Pastoral care/ Spiritual support to the greater Garrison and 1RGR.
c. Support the BFB Comd’s intent and direction on mental health education and resilience.
d. Re-establishing the pattern of Lama Guru’s routine visit to BFB Buddhist and other communities.
3. This is Lama Guru’s routine visit to BFB.
4. Intent. Deliver spiritual support/ pastoral care to the BFB SP and families.
