Brunei: Malaysia - Miri Land Border Crossing Checklist

Here is the checklist you need to be aware of when going to Miri:

1. Brunei Vehicle Pass (EES) - Pay $3 per vehicle (one way) $6 return. This is for 7 people or less in one vehicle. https://login.bdnsw.gov.bn/ees/user/login

Vehicles of 7-25 people will be charged $6 one way.
Vehicles of more than 25 people will be charged $10 one way.
Pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, government and diplomatic vehicles are exempt.

2. Apply for Sarawak Vehicle Pass (VMS) - https://customssg7.my/e-vehicle-login.php?&lang=en

(remember to print/take your 'blue book' and copy of your car insurance to be shown with the vehicle pass on Miri side)

3. E-Arrival Card. For all Foreign Nationals arriving back into Brunei you will need to complete the e-arrivals card at: www.imm.gov.bn. This can be completed in advance of your trip and details are saved on the system. The e-arrivals card is linked to your passport number so they will see this on their system when you arrive at the Brunei border checkpoint.

The Sg. Tujoh immigration post is open from 0600 - 2200

It is advisable to print out every single document above instead of just having it on your phone. If you need further info, contact the travel info hotline 120 during working hours or email travelapplication@jpm.gov.bn
