Brunei: World Book Day with Guest Storytellers - Thursday, 7th March 2024 @ Hornbill School

On Thursday 7th March Hornbill School is hosting storytelling sessions, giving the children to opportunity to listen to a variety of stories told by a range of familiar people from across school and our wider garrison community. 

This year children from FS1-Year 6 will have a shared focus-text for the week, a picture book - Where the Wild Things Are, and we would like to share more picture books during our storytelling sessions. If you are available, we would be delighted if you could join us to share your favourite picture book with the children. 

The storytelling sessions will be attended by mixed-age groups of children from FS1-Year 6 and will take place in 20 minute slots from 

10:00-10:20, 

10:30-10:50 & 

11:00-11:20 

and storytellers are welcome to stay for as much, or as little, time as they wish. 

On the day we will also all be dressed up as our favourite book characters/personalities so, if you like, you could also join in the fun and come dressed as your favourite character.
