Update. As you are aware, the National festival Dashain 2024 commenced yesterday. Children and families can join the ceremony as return from the main ritual to showcase our community's togetherness, belonging and strength. There will also be a fly pass by our Puma helicopter.

Please refer to the map the location where families can join the Phulpati ceremony as it returns to the temple. Families are most welcome and strongly encouraged to stand on the pavement next to the road towards the H15 side.

Time. The Phulpati will be returning from the main ritual from 25m Range, J16 & CCCC road around 1030hrs on 10 Oct 24. Therefore, children & families line up along the school perimeter/ parking and road side (H15 side) by 1040hrs would be suitable.

Background. Sun hat, sun cream, water and umbrella are strongly advised to apply and carry where appropriate.

PSB, the significant of Phulpati,

Phul is Flower and Pati is leaves and plants. PhulPati literally means flowers, leaves and plants. Bringing Phulpati brings all the nine goddess to your home. All nine plants represent goddess and all goddess represents Health, Wealth and Prosperity. The whole unit assembles at the temple and later goes in procession to the jungle or countryside to collect Phulpati (plants, branches, twigs, and leaves). On arrival at the selected spot a shrine is erected, a sacred fire (Hom) lit and prayers are offered. In the meantime, the Coys entertain themselves nearby in groups with various naach (cultural shows/ dance).
