I am sure you must have heard / seen on social media of Nepal reforestation project, which is being led by Lt Col (Retd) Philip Holmes. A remarkable project indeed.
The Pipal Tree’s donation appeal has gone live from noon on the 20th April, UK time and it only runs for a week – ends on Wed 26 Apr 23! The appeal will allow Pipal Tree team to set up two memorial forests in Dhanusha District - one for Bhanbhagta VC and the other for Tulbahadur VC.
Pipal Tree’s open-ended Mission is the protection and upliftment of the most vulnerable people in Madhesh Province, southeast Nepal, with a particular focus on children from the lowest castes and marginalised ethnic groups, women and girls, the natural environment and disaster relief.
