Understanding the challenges with menstruation of Service Personnel

Understanding the challenges with menstruation of Service Personnel
We are inviting Service personnel who currently have “periods”, or have had periods during their military careers, to participate in a short survey to share their experiences. We want to use your experiences having periods both on operational deployments and on exercises to inform options on how MOD can better support you.

We want to gain an understanding of how you have coped, any challenges or barriers you may have faced, and what you would like to happen in the future.

You will be asked to answer a series of questions in an online survey which will ask about your experiences of having periods while serving in the UK Armed Forces. It will take about 15 minutes to complete.

This research is being conducted by MOD researchers to understand this issue on behalf of Minister for the Armed Forces.

Your involvement is entirely voluntary, and the survey is anonymous with no way of identifying you as an individual from your responses. You will be given an option to skip any questions you are not comfortable responding to and you can withdraw at any time from the survey up until you submit your response without any consequence, and you do not have to provide a reason.

The survey closes on 21st December 2020 and works best in Google Chrome.

Please click here to take the survey now.
