Brunei: Drone Flying
DRONE FLYING
Flying of any remotely operated aerial vehicle or unmanned aerial system, commonly known as drones, including ‘toy’ remote control systems is strictly controlled in Brunei.
If anyone requires to operate a drone whilst in Brunei, permission must be sought prior to any flight. You must allow 6-8 weeks for the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) to process the request. Anyone found operating drones without written permission from the DCA may be subject to disciplinary action. For further details please contact SO3 ES on ext no.3373.
