RBL Poppy Pebbles

To mark Remembrance Day 2022, we are inviting pupils to participate in our Poppy Pebbles project. The work created by pupils will be celebrated and shared by us during the month of November. By taking part in this project pupils will be given the opportunity to:

* Discuss the importance of Remembrance and why we continue to mark the occasion

* Learn about the importance of war memorials, both in the past and present day

* Identify what they can do in their local community to mark Remembrance Day 2022

The packs have curriculum links to History, Citizenship, English, Geography and Art, providing teaching resources in order to teach Remembrance and to open up the discussion in the classroom or at home, thereby raising awareness about the day and its meaning. We have two packs, one for primary students and one for secondary students.

If your family, or your primary or secondary school is interested in taking part, please email comms@forcesemployment.org.uk and we will send copies of the packs, which can then be used at home or forwarded onto the school.
