RMP – Rise in Suspicious Activity
There have recently been several incidents of suspicious activity within the Garrison. All members of BFB are reminded that such matters should be reported to the RMP, Royal Brunei Police Force and the Duty Officer as soon as possible. Delays in reporting incidents to the Police will hinder appropriate measures taken against further criminal activity. We are urging all residents of BFB to be vigilant and take extra precautions to secure their homes and belongings. Please take note of the following:
- Secure all windows, doors, vehicles, and outbuildings.
- Do not leave any belongings insecure.
- Consider installing CCTV or Ring Doorbells.
- Avoid posting on social media about holidays or times when your property will be vacant until after you have returned.
- Look out for each other and report any suspicious activity.
If you feel that you or someone else are in immediate danger or need support right away, always call 993 for a RBPF emergency response.
